As part of Government’s measures to combat against the novel Coronavirus,Bans were placed on some important events which brought alot of people together with the aim of observing the social distancing protocol.
On the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo’s update number 28 on the easing of some of the protocols which were laid down to fight the deadly virus, He has opened doors for some events like rallies,parties ,sporting events and funeral to take place .
According to him in his briefing on sunday 27th march 2022, All individuals who have been fully vaccinated can gather at cinemas and other events to performs their daily duties with full capacity.
He further added that effective Monday, 28th march 2022 the wearing of nose mask will notbe mandatory as a large number of Ghanaians have vaccinated.
Making reference to the number of people who have been vaccinated, Akuffo Addo revealed that 13.1million doses of the vaccine have been administered.
He therefore urged all to continue practicing the enhanced hygiene protocols to eliminate the novel coronavirus.
