Justice Blay’s father, John Blay, has said he supports this choice of his son to move to Kotoko on a permanent deal from Medeama SC and is ready to negotiate the move.
The 28-year-old played for Asante Kotoko on loan in the cancelled 2019/20 Ghana Premier League Abd has shown his readiness to make a permanent switch from Medeama.
Mr. John Blay said he supports all clubs his son plays for and knows the central-midfielder loves to play for Kotoko, not Medeama at the moment.
“I’ve supported all the teams my son has played, from Eleven Wise, Medeama, and Kotoko”, he told OTEC FM.
“So, now, if my son has decided to play for Kotoko, I can’t prevent him from moving to his dream team.
“I hope that Kotoko will have fruitful negotiations with Medeama’s President, Moses Parker.
“My son’s heart is definitely with Kotoko. Since he moves to Kotoko, he has become very popular especially after scoring that goal against Hearts of Oak in Accra.
“Blay is my son and not Moses Parker’s son, so I am ready to help Kotoko negotiate with Medeama to secure his services. I’m ready to meet Kotoko in Tarkwa to negotiate on my son’s behalf.”
Medeama are reported to be furious over the way Kotoko are handling the issue and are ready to drag Kotoko to the GFA for trying to induce the player.
