The member of parliament for Ayawaso central Honorable Henry Quartey has fulfilled his promises to the people of Ayawaso weeks ahead of the 7th December polls. Residents have bemoaned countless times about having poor drainage systems which causes flood anytime there is a heavy downpour.
Residents at a point in time were stranded because their voices were not heard aside all the efforts they have put in place to ensure that their problems are solved.
Speaking on Dofopa Fm with Mantse on the Ghana Nsem show, Honorable Quartey made a promise that, things are a bit rough and that has slowed down some of their projects which includes roads, streetlights and among others.
“l have heard the complains from my people and l want to ensure them that with time l will try my best possible to put things in place” he said.
Two representatives from pig farm where once invited to the studios due to the pressure mounted on them after a heavy downpour which destroyed most of their properties.
In an interview with them, The morning show host also had an interview with Honorable Quartey which gave the residents some sort of conviction.
Not only has Honorable Quartey promised his people but few days after the interview, he fixed more than enough streetlights to enhance visibility in the area and also constructed some roads.
Residents have expressed how enthused they are and are convinced that, the rest of the project will be done in no time.
